Mrs. Claus and I had the privilege of appearing at Jim

Carrey’s First Annual Holiday Party at Paramount Studios

on December 16, 2006. It was a lavish "North Pole

Fantasy" for celebrities and their families, benefiting the

Los Angeles Fire Department’s "Sparks of Love" toy drive.

For the celebrity guest’s entertainment, Paramount

presented a spectacular ice show, starring Sasha Cohen

on an Olympic sized ice rink. Jim Carrey and Jenny

McCarthy skated with all the children for several hours

after the show. Santa and Mrs. Claus were there on a

beautiful set near the snow cave entrance with

thousands of lights and snow everywhere. For the

children’s amusement there were a dozen elves played by

little people extras, Frosty the Snowman, live reindeer

and Emperor penguins, a life size gingerbread play

house, several amazingly entertaining artists and 200 live pine tree's

Most of the guests came with their children to have

pictures taken with Santa and Mrs.

Claus. Over 1,000 toys were contributed by guests

including Ron Howard, Penny Marshall, Brooke Shields,

Morgan Freeman, Tom Cruise with Katie Holmes, Jeff

Goldblum, Jude Law, Amy Brenneman, Mark Ruffalo, Pete

Farrelly and Virginia Madsen.
